Other Voting Settings
Configure additional voting settings like candidate shuffling and step-by-step ballots.
This section covers additional voting settings in the Voting tab of Voting Event Settings.
Selection rules
Configure required and optional responses on each Position. Set Minimum selections to 0 to make a Position optional, or set a higher minimum when voters must make more than one selection. Maximum selections limits how many candidates a voter can choose for that Position.
Shuffle Candidates Order
You can enable this setting to make the system shuffle the order of the Candidates when presenting them to the Voters while voting.
This helps to make sure Voters recognize the Candidates they select.
Step-by-step ballot
Use this setting when a ballot has several positions. Voters see one position at a time with Previous and Next navigation.
Require Voter ID to Vote
Use this setting when voters must provide a Voter ID before accessing the ballot. You can optionally validate the Voter ID by checking whether it contains, starts with, or ends with a specific value.
Save Voter Info During Voting
For polls, this setting collects the voter's name and optional email before the ballot. It is useful for public polls where you want a light audit trail without using election-style voter registration.
